Hospital CEO resigns after only two years

Chief executive Lloyd Ford Jr., PhD, FACHE, abruptly resigned from Jefferson Regional Medical Center after just over two years in the position. Last week, the hospital announced that Ford would be leaving the hospital to pursue new opportunities and that the change would be effective immediately.

Arbitration appeal gets full-court treatment

Tapco awarded nearly $600,000

A St. Louis County jury awarded three verdicts totaling $593,000 in favor of grain elevator buckets and bolts company Tapco Wednesday afternoon. Tapco had claimed three former employees used confidential information to swipe customers.
