The old saying of "one man's trash is another man's treasure" is at the center of a St. Louis-area municipal dispute over a yard sculpture. Ballwin resident Lewis Greenberg has been fighting the municipality since 2007 over his lawnwide encompassing sculpture made of reusable products, which he claims is art. But that isn't how the municipality sees it, arguing that the sculpture is a danger to public safety. Greenberg's bench trial is scheduled for Thursday in St. Louis County Circuit Court.
