Fingerprint evidence is reliable and can be used against an accused killer, a U.S. District Court in Maryland has ruled in overturning a controversial trial court ruling that threw out the evidence. Baltimore County Circuit Court Judge Susan Souder made waves nationwide in 2007 when she ruled that a common technique for fingerprint analysis was not reliable enough to use at trial.
