Pizza Hut drivers file suit

Pizza Hut delivery drivers in 28 states, including Missouri, have been stiffed on their automobile expenses, a class action lawsuit claims. The lawsuit, filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for Kansas, claims that Overland Park, Kan.,-based NPC International, the largest Pizza Hut franchisee in the world, doesn't pay its delivery drivers enough. Specifically, the lawsuit claims NPC's compensation for drivers is below the federal minimum wage once automobile maintenance and job-related expenses are deducted.
