St. Louis-based Brown & Crouppen has named its first new partners since 1979, when the firm was founded.

Andy Crouppen and Ed Herman have both been with the personal injury law firm since the early 2000s. Herman and Crouppen, along with founding partners Ron Brown and Terry Crouppen, are attorney members of the firm’s Executive Committee.

“Andy and Ed have demonstrated extraordinary vision and leadership,” said Ron Brown. “Their innovations in practice management and client service have contributed to Brown & Crouppen’s growth.”

Crouppen, 41, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1994 and received his law degree from the New York Law School in 1999. He joined Brown & Crouppen in 2003 as a personal injury attorney and appears frequently in the media as a legal commenter.

Herman, 40, received his undergraduate degree in 1994 from the State University of New York at Buffalo. In 1997 he graduated from the Washington University School of Law, where he received several awards for his trial advocacy skills. Herman joined the firm in 2001.

Brown & Crouppen’s headquarters are in downtown St. Louis and the firm maintains appointment-only offices in Kansas City, St. Charles, Arnold, O’Fallon and Washington, Mo.; and Fairview Heights, Ill.
