Anne F. Strassfeld will join Saint Luke’s Health System as senior vice president, general counsel effective July 23.
In the newly established position, Strassfeld will provide legal counsel and representation to Saint Luke’s Health System and its related entities on a broad range of legal matters, and direct outside counsel retained to represent the system.
Strassfeld comes to Saint Luke’s from University Hospitals Health System in Cleveland, where she was associate general counsel for the system. Her experience includes serving as senior counsel in the office of general counsel with the Cleveland Clinic. Prior to that, she was in private practice with Ulmer & Berne in Cleveland.
Strassfeld earned her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, Charlottesville, and a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University, Middletown, Conn. She was active in the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and served as board chair for Care Alliance Health Care, a federally qualified community health center.
