Drug views can get jurors struck

Prosecutors did not violate a defendant’s constitutional rights by using peremptory strikes to remove jurors who favored marijuana legalization, the 10th Circuit has ruled in affirming a conviction. Federal agent originally got a warrant to search defendant’s house for guns, but they also found 200 marijuana plants growing in his basement.
