The Festus City Council announced last week that it has upheld the decision to fire former city administrator Terry Draper. Draper was fired on May 4, following a more than two hour executive session by the City Council. A public hearing was held at Festus City Hall June 27 regarding Draper’s firing, but neither Draper nor his attorney, Chet Pleban, attended, as Pleban had a prior commitment.
