A prominent trial attorney in the Kansas City area is making strides in another part of his life. Steve Gorny, president of the Mid-America Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, recently completed an ultramarathon for the charity. He ran 100 miles in 24 hours during the "Heartland 100: Spirit of the Prairie" race Oct. 10 to Oct. 11 in Kansas' Flint Hills.
By day, Gorny works at Bartimus, Frickleton, Robertson & Gorny in Leawood, Kan.
