Attorney celebrates two civic victories in two days

Dan Cofran had a very good week. Cofran, a lawyer in Kansas City, has been the public face of two of the city’s hottest issues: whether law firm Polsinelli Shughart should build its headquarters on the Country Club Plaza, and whether voters should retain the city’s earnings tax. Cofran opposed the former and supported the latter. He sees no conflict in those positions, though others would beg to differ.
