Appeals court says Texas firms can’t share $52M in fees

In separate opinion, 8th Circuit revives lawsuit over fee pool in Bayer rice case

An appeals court Friday confirmed that plaintiffs’ law firms in federal litigation over genetically modified rice contamination don’t have to share $51.6 million in fees with three Texas firms that had a majority of their cases in state court.
