Gov. Nixon appoints Cape Girardeau attorney to Missouri Gaming Commission

Diane C. Howard has been appointed by Gov. Jay Nixon to the Missouri Gaming Commission. The Gaming Commission enforces the statutes and regulations relating to charitable bingo and riverboat gambling. The governor has appointed Howard for a term that expires April 29, 2015. The appointment will be subject to confirmation by the Missouri Senate.

Howard is a partner with the Cape Girardeau law firm, The Limbaugh Firm, and has been with the firm since 1984.

Howard is a graduate of the Saint Louis University School of Law, and has been active on several state and local bar association committees.
