Megan R. Galey has joined Husch Blackwell’s St. Louis office as an associate. Galey will practice environmental & natural resources law, bringing a working knowledge on matters such as Clean Water Act enforcement issues and sustainable agriculture standards.
Prior to joining Husch Blackwell, Galey was a legal research associate for the University of Illinois’ College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences, where she served as a consultant for the agricultural community regarding food and environmental regulations. While there, she assisted the nonprofit environmental organization Leonardo Academy with the development of sustainable agriculture standards for the American National Standards Institute.
Galey received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law (2011), where she was administrative editor of the University of Illinois Law Review and a member of Phi Kappa Phi honor society.
