Attorney General Chris Koster’s website has a new feature aimed at helping consumers understand the foreclosure process and obtain certain paperwork, Koster announced at a press conference Monday in downtown St. Louis. The site includes descriptions of documents that homeowners can obtain from a loan servicer and a form letter asking a lender to provide documents related to a person’s mortgage. “This documentation will show the payment history of your loan, past assignment of your loan, and most importantly, present ownership of your loan,” Koster said at the Old Post Office.
