Eckersley putting $100,000 into U.S. House campaign

Scott Eckersley, who was fired from former Gov. Matt Blunt’s office said Monday that he is using $100,000 from a state legal settlement to help finance a campaign for Congress. Eckersley lost his job in 2007 after challenging the office’s document-retention policy. In this February photo, he testified before a Missouri House committee hearing a bill to strengthen the state’s Sunshine law.
