Cities in St. Charles County are decking their streets with garlands, wreaths and lights, and making plans for holiday events to get residents and visitors into the Christmas - and shopping - spirit. This is especially the case in St. Charles, where a monthlong slate of "Christmas Traditions," including everything from weekly parades to outdoor ice skating at the new temporary ice skating rink, will lure thousands to Main Street and its dozens of specialty shops and businesses.
