A businessman cannot pursue a malpractice claim against St. Louis-based Bryan Cave in New Jersey over alleged misconduct in California, a New Jersey appeals court ruled Tuesday. Michael Azeez lived in New Jersey when he sued Bryan Cave in 2004 alleging the law firm helped Reed Slatkin conceal fraud during a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation.
