Judge Richard Callahan has been tapped to become the federal prosecutor for Eastern Missouri.
President Barack Obama today announced his picks for four U.S. attorney openings. He chose Callahan, a circuit judge in Jefferson City, to take over the U.S. attorney's office in St. Louis. The previous U.S. attorney was Catherine Hanaway.
