Author recounts eminent domain battle

Author Jeff Benedict spent three years with Suzette Kelo learning about her "little pink house" and her fight to save her own home. Her battle led to one of the most talked about and controversial U.S. Supreme Court decisions about government's ability to use eminent domain. Benedict spoke Wednesday at a luncheon hosted by the Missouri Federal Institute and the Federalist Society, telling Kelo's story and what brought her to the Supreme Court.
