Gov. Jay Nixon named Kansas City attorney Tim Dollar to the Missouri Conservation Commission.
Dollar, a Democrat from Blue Springs, is a partner at Dollar, Burns & Becker and a special assistant prosecutor for capital litigation for the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office.
In a press release, the governor’s office said Dollar is a hunter and fisher who owns rural property in central Missouri that he uses exclusively for management and investing in quail, deer, turkey and other wildlife, as well as in wildlife habitat.
Dollar’s appointment, which will be subject to confirmation by the Missouri Senate, is for a term ending June 30, 2019.
