Law school honors graduate’s work with children

The Saint Louis University law school grad was in high school when she got her first taste of child advocacy. Now Latasha Barnes plans to make a career out of it. Barnes' passion for youth law, her desire to ensure children have a voice in court and her dedication to her clients captured the attention of her law professors. On Thursday afternoon, the law school honored Barnes with the David M. Grant Clinic Student Award, which honors a third-year law student who shows an interest in civil rights.
