Thompson Coburn partners receive national honors

Tom Litz and Jim J. Murphy

Multiple clients named Thompson Coburn partners Tom Litz and Jim J. Murphy as top client service leaders in a recent in-depth survey of corporate counsel by BTI Consulting Group. Those multiple nominations earned Litz a designation as a Client Service Super All-Star, one of just four attorneys in the nation to earn the title in 2012. BTI named Murphy a 2012 BTI Client Service All-Star, making Thompson Coburn one of just 58 law firms nationwide with multiple nominees.

The consulting group created the list by asking general counsel and their direct reports to name  the attorneys who drive superior client relationships.

Litz, the co-chair of the firm’s Corporate Finance and Securities Group,  has over 25 years’ experience advising companies on securities regulation, business organizations and corporate finance. Murphy is a banking and commercial finance attorney who represents both borrowers and lenders in all types of lending and commercial-finance transactions.
